About this plant
Miss Huff is a lantana, bearing clusters of small flowers in shades of pink, orange, and yellow from summer into fall, and butterflies work them all season. It forms a rounded, spreading shrub that stays compact enough for containers or the front of a border.
Give it full sun and well-drained soil; in our clay, drainage is the whole game, so amend or raise the bed. Miss Huff is genuinely drought tolerant and comes back each year here, where most lantana is treated as an annual. Cut it to the ground in late winter and be patient, because it is slow to wake.
