Daylily ‘Bakabana’

Bakabana is a yellow daylily that sends up trumpet blooms over arching, grassy foliage through the summer. Each flower lasts a single day, and each stem carries a string of buds, so the show runs for weeks.

Daylilies are among the easiest perennials for Alabama: full sun to part sun, any reasonable soil, average water. Divide clumps every few years in fall to keep them blooming hard. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit; rabbits and drought don't slow it much.
