About this plant
‘Pringle's Dwarf’ is a podocarpus rather than a true yew, with soft, narrow, dark evergreen needles on a low, spreading habit. Expect 3–5 feet tall and 5–6 feet wide, so it sits wider than it stands.
Grow it in shade to part sun with well-drained soil. It shears well and stays dense, making it a low evergreen mass or a soft informal hedge.
