About this plant
‘Alapaha’ is an early rabbiteye blueberry that kicks off the season with small, sweet fruit — plant it alongside a later variety to spread the harvest across the season.
Full sun, acidic soil amended with sulfur or peat, and even moisture; mulch heavily. Rabbiteyes need a second different cultivar nearby for a worthwhile crop, so pair Alapaha with a mid or late variety.
