Spintop Yellow Touch is a compact blanket flower with daisy-form blooms in yellow and warm red tones, held over grey-green foliage from late spring right through the summer heat. Its low, mounding habit keeps the flowers at a manageable height, and the show carries on as the weather turns hot and humid.

Plant it where the soil is lean and fast-draining, because rich ground makes it flop and shortens its life; a sunny slope or raised bed suits it well. Once established it shrugs off drought, and the blooms draw butterflies while deer pass it by.
