Winter Daphne Variegated White

Variegated winter daphne is the gardener's February reward: clusters of rosy buds opening to a fragrance that carries across the whole yard, over cream-edged evergreen leaves.

It is particular — bright shade, perfectly drained soil, no soggy feet, no moving it later. Plant it slightly high near a winter path or door, then leave it alone and let it perfume the cold months.
