About this plant
‘Florida Sunshine’ anise lights up shade like little else: chartreuse-gold foliage that intensifies in winter, red stems, and the soft, licorice-scented leaves of the species — deer leave it alone.
Part to full shade in moist, rich soil; the gold holds even in dim corners. A 4–5 foot beacon for woodland beds and north foundations.
