Encore® Azalea ‘Autumn Chiffon’

Encore Chiffon is a dwarf reblooming azalea with soft pink-and-white bicolor flowers on a plant about 2 to 3 feet tall. It blooms in spring, then sets fresh buds and flowers again through summer and fall, with tidy evergreen foliage carrying it between shows.

Encores take more sun than older azaleas — four to six hours suits them, and in Birmingham a spot with morning sun and afternoon shade is kind in July. Plant in acidic, well-drained soil, mulch generously, and water deeply through the first summer while roots establish.
