Encore Autumn Bravo brings true red azalea flowers not just in spring but again through summer and fall, set against deep green evergreen foliage that makes the color glow. Like the rest of the Encore series, it earns its spot by blooming across three seasons instead of one.

Give it four to six hours of sun, morning light being ideal in Birmingham, along with acidic, well-drained soil and a pine straw mulch. Water consistently the first year while roots establish. Prune, if at all, right after the spring flush so the later rounds of bloom are spared.
