About this plant
‘Green Giant’ is the fastest honest privacy screen we sell — three feet a year once established is common — building into a dense, deer-resistant pyramid of rich green that can reach 30–40 feet if you let it.
Full sun to light shade, most well-drained soils, and room to be big: space plants 5–8 feet apart for screening. Water faithfully the first two summers and it takes over from there. The go-to replacement for troubled Leyland cypress plantings.
