About this plant
‘Soft Touch’ is a Japanese holly that does what its name promises: genuinely soft leaves, not the spiny prickles you expect. Dense, tidy mound reaching 2–3 feet tall, naturally compact without constant shearing.
Full sun to part shade in acidic, well-drained soil; it hates wet feet. Plant as a low hedge, foundation line, or border edging where soft foliage matters.
