Coreopsis ‘Nana’ Mouse Ear

This dwarf mouse-ear coreopsis hugs the front of the border, staying under a foot tall while sending up rounded, orange-gold daisies from spring into fall. It is a Southeastern native selection with tidy green foliage, and bees and butterflies visit it constantly through the season.

Full sun and well-drained soil keep it blooming; deadhead or shear lightly after each flush to set up the next round. It tolerates drought once established, and deer and rabbits show little interest. Use it as an edging plant, in rock gardens, or at the feet of taller perennials.
