Alabama Beauty is a sasanqua camellia with deep fuchsia-pink blooms that open in fall and carry into winter, when little else is flowering. It's an upright evergreen that can reach twelve to fifteen feet, so it works as a flowering screen or espalier subject.

Plant it in part shade in acidic, well-drained soil; morning sun and afternoon shade is the sweet spot here. Water deeply the first year or two while roots establish. Sasanquas take shearing well, so it can be kept smaller if needed.
