Japanese Holly ‘Sky Pencil’

‘Sky Pencil’ is the exclamation point of hollies: a naturally pencil-thin column of small dark evergreen leaves, two feet wide at ten feet tall, no pruning involved.

Sun to part shade in moist, drained soil. Frame a door with a pair, line a narrow bed, or add vertical rhythm to borders that lie too flat.
