Celosia brings velvety, torch-like flowers to beds and borders when heat is at its peak—exactly when other plants are struggling. The colors run jewel-toned and rich, and they'll keep coming from now through first frost if you keep the spent flower heads pinched off.

Plant in full sun and average soil. These are toughest in hot, dry spots where you'd otherwise have trouble finding anything that performs.
