About this plant
‘Blue Rug’ is the flattest juniper going — a silver-blue mat just a few inches high that spreads wide, drapes over edges, and takes on plum tones in winter.
It asks only for full sun and drainage. Use it to carpet sunny slopes, top retaining walls, or run between boulders; it suppresses weeds as it knits together.
