About this plant
‘Gold Mop’ false cypress is a soft mounding shrub of drooping thread-like golden foliage, slow to 2–3 feet. The gold holds strongest in full sun; shade washes it toward lime-green.
Full sun, well-drained soil, and that is the essential list. Use it as a foundation anchor or corner plant where the fine, warm colour reads against darker conifers and broad-leaved evergreens.
