Satsuma ‘Owari’

‘Owari’ is the beloved standard satsuma: melting, sweet, seedless segments in fruit that peels like it wants to be eaten, ripening October through December.

Cold-hardy for citrus — a sheltered, sunny, well-drained spot can carry it in-ground here with frost protection while young, or keep it potted and mobile. Either way, satsuma season becomes the family's favorite.
