Algerian ivy is the big-leaved cousin of English ivy, with broad, glossy, deep green foliage on fast-growing stems. As a houseplant it makes a full, trailing specimen for a basket or a high shelf, and it will climb a support if you offer one, building a dense curtain of green.

It tolerates a range of light indoors but grows fullest in bright, indirect light. Water when the top of the soil has dried; constant sogginess is the main thing that troubles it. Trim the runners any time to keep the plant bushy and in bounds.
