Dragonwing begonias earn their name with bold, wing-shaped leaves and an open, airy habit that fills space without crowding. White flowers appear all season against dark foliage, and they handle part sun better than most begonias, so you're not locked into deep shade.

Expect them to reach 1.5 to 2 feet tall and about half that wide. They thrive in the heat here and keep producing right through fall.
