‘Coppertone’ distylium flushes copper-red with every round of new growth before settling to blue-green — a dense, mounding evergreen that takes conditions hollies and boxwoods resent.
Sun to part shade, adaptable to wet and dry alike, untroubled by pests. A 3–4 foot foundation and border shrub for the set-it-and-forget-it school.
