‘Yoshino’ is one of the finest screening evergreens for the South: a fast, dense Japanese cedar with soft, rich green foliage that stays handsome year-round, reaching 30–40 feet with a graceful, spire-like outline.
Full sun to light shade in moist, well-drained soil. Use it where you'd once have planted Leyland cypress — it's more disease-resistant and better looking. Space 8–10 feet apart for a tall screen.
