Indian Hawthorn ‘Snow Cap’

Snow Cap is a compact Indian hawthorne that mounds neatly to about four feet, with dark, leathery evergreen foliage selected for strong disease resistance. Pink buds open to pale pink flowers that finish white in spring, followed by small blue-black berries.

Cold weather washes the foliage in burgundy-red for winter interest. Use it for low hedges, foundation rows, or mass plantings in full to part sun with decent drainage. Once established it needs little beyond an occasional light trim.
