Glacier Blue euphorbia is a foliage plant first: blue-grey leaves edged in cream on a neat, evergreen mound that keeps its shape without much help. It's a dependable piece of structure for the front of a border or a container, with the cool colour doing the work of brightening neighbors.

Give it full sun to part shade and sharp drainage, since wet feet in our clay soil will rot it out fast. Plant it on a slope, in a raised bed, or in a pot with gritty mix. The milky sap irritates skin, so wear gloves when you cut it back.
