Ocean Sunset Violet forms a low, flat mat of fleshy succulent leaves, covered in daisy-like flowers that open in sun across a long season. It stays close to the ground, so think of it as a carpet rather than a border plant.

Full sun and sharp drainage are non-negotiable, and our Birmingham clay will rot it out unless you raise the bed or site it in gravel or on a wall. Once rooted it is drought-proof, so skip the watering can and let it do the work.
