Rabbiteye Blueberry ‘Climax’

‘Climax’ is the early rabbiteye — the Alabama blueberry standard that ripens most of its crop at once in early June, firm, sweet, and made for our acid soils.

Full sun, acidic well-drained soil, pine-bark mulch, and a second rabbiteye variety (like ‘Tifblue’) for heavy crops. Berries plus scarlet fall color: a shrub that pays double.
