Snapdragons reach upward in neat spires, perfect for cutting or for filling a gap in the border with vertical emphasis. They're cool-season performers, so plant them in fall for winter color or grab them again come September when heat lets up.

Full sun and decent drainage will keep them happy. Pinch out the top early to encourage branching, and deadhead the spent flower spikes to keep more coming.
