Orange Vibe is an ice plant with glowing orange, daisy-like flowers that shimmer as if wet, opening with the sun from spring through fall over a low mat of succulent green foliage only an inch or two tall. Few groundcovers put out this much saturated color for this long.

Success is all about drainage: full sun and sandy, gritty, or sloped ground, with water kept on the lean side once established. Use it in rock gardens, on banks, over walls, and at container edges. Butterflies and hummingbirds visit, while deer, rabbits, and drought leave it unbothered.
