UpTick Red is a big-flowered coreopsis bearing broad, velvety red daisies, many flashing gold at the center, over a tidy mound about 1 to 2 feet around. The UpTick series was selected for large blooms and a long run of flower, carrying color from early summer into fall.

Full sun and well-drained soil keep it dense and blooming; shear it lightly midseason if flowering slows and it will reload. Bees and butterflies work it constantly while deer show little interest. Use it in containers, front-of-border drifts, and small cut arrangements.
