Jade Rose is an echeveria forming plump, symmetrical rosettes of jade-green leaves that pick up rosy tints at the edges in bright light and cool weather. Over time the mother rosette surrounds itself with offsets, slowly building a cluster. We carry it in the Toe Ticklers series of little groundcover plants.
Give it full to part sun and gritty, fast-draining soil, watering only when the soil is dry and keeping water out of the rosette itself. It is not winter-hardy in Birmingham, so grow it in a container or dish garden you can shelter from frost.
