Moon Falls is a sedge rather than a grass, and that is the useful part: fine arching foliage that keeps its character through all four seasons and takes the shade where most ornamental grasses insist on sun.

Part shade to shade, in soil that stays reasonably moist. Comb the spent blades out by hand in early spring rather than cutting it back hard — a sedge resents being sheared to the ground. Good along a shaded path or in a container.
