Sunbeckia Ophelia is a showy black-eyed Susan bearing notably large golden-yellow daisies around dark centers on a strong, well-branched plant about 2 feet tall. The flowers come in waves from early summer deep into fall, and bees, butterflies, and birds all make use of them.

Full sun and average, well-drained soil suit it; it tolerates drought, clay, and deer once settled. Deadhead to keep the buds coming and water during extended dry spells. Its full, upright habit works as well in a big patio container as it does in the border.
