Magic Mona Purple is a Plectranthus grown for its foliage, with deep purple leaves on a trailing to mounding habit that fills containers and spills over edges. The leaves carry the show here, so you're buying color that lasts the whole season rather than a short bloom window.

Give it part shade and steady moisture in well-drained soil, since our clay holds water and will rot the roots if it stays soggy. It isn't reliably winter-hardy in Birmingham, so treat it as a season-long container or shade plant, or bring it indoors before frost to overwinter.
