Spot On Deep Rose is a low, creeping sedum only a few inches tall, with succulent foliage smothered in starry, deep rose-pink flowers in late summer, just as many perennials wind down. The seedheads carry a little interest into winter, and bees and butterflies work it hard.

Give it full sun and well-drained, even rocky soil; the leaner the spot, the better it behaves. Once rooted it is thoroughly drought proof and ignored by deer and rabbits. Use it at the front edge, in rock gardens, or spilling from a container.
