Eversheen is an evergreen sedge from the EverColor series, with narrow, glossy blades striped lime-gold down the center and edged in dark green. It forms a fine-textured, arching clump about a foot tall that keeps its color through all four seasons.

It is flexible about light, taking sun to shade, though a little afternoon relief keeps the color freshest here. Moist, well-drained soil suits it, and deer leave it alone. Use it in containers, massed along a walk, or as a bright edge for shade beds, and comb out old blades in spring.
