Kudos Coral is a compact hummingbird mint with dense spikes of coral-pink bloom from summer into fall over aromatic gray-green foliage, about 16 to 20 inches tall. Hummingbirds find it fast, and bees and butterflies keep it busy the rest of the day.

It asks for full sun and, above all, sharp drainage; winter wet is what does agastache in, so avoid low spots and keep heavy mulch off the crown. Once established it is genuinely drought tolerant, and deer leave it alone. Shear lightly between flushes to keep the spikes coming.
