Cryptomeria ‘Globosa’

‘Globosa’ forms a broad, dense dome of soft blue-green Japanese cedar foliage, slowly reaching 3–4 feet and bronzing attractively in winter. The texture is what sells it — plush and fine, unlike anything else in the border.

Give it sun to light shade and moist, well-drained soil. It anchors mixed borders, softens foundation lines, and holds its own as a specimen in smaller gardens.
