Spintop Copper Sun is a compact blanket flower with dark orange daisies tipped in golden yellow, blooming heavily from late spring through summer on plants under a foot tall. The warm, glowing color reads from a distance and keeps bees and butterflies busy.

Give it full sun and well-drained soil, the leaner the better; heat and drought barely slow it down, which makes it a natural for our July and August. Deadhead to keep flowers coming, and avoid soggy winter spots. Deer pass it by.
