About this plant
Fashion is an evergreen azalea that covers itself in bright pink blooms through the spring season. The leaves are on the large side and slightly elongated, dark green at maturity with coppery new growth, and the shrub fills out to roughly 4 to 6 feet tall and wide if left unsheared.
Plant it in part sun to part shade with acidic, well-drained soil; in Birmingham a spot with morning light and afternoon shade keeps the flowers fresh longest. Water regularly the first summer, mulch with pine straw, and prune only right after bloom so you keep next year's buds.
