Lemon philodendron is the classic heartleaf philodendron dressed in glowing chartreuse, with new leaves emerging almost neon before settling into lime green. It trails generously from a hanging basket or shelf, or climbs a pole if you give it one.

It tolerates a wide range of light, though brighter indirect light keeps the color electric. Let the top inch or two of soil dry between waterings, and pinch long runners to keep it full. It's as forgiving as houseplants come, a great confidence-builder.
