Jade pothos is the plain-green classic: deep, solid green heart-shaped leaves on vining stems that trail from a basket, drape a bookshelf, or climb a pole. Without variegation to support, it keeps its rich color even in dim rooms, which makes it one of the more forgiving houseplants you can own.

It accepts anything from low light to bright indirect light. Water when the top inch or two of soil dries, and trim long runners back to a leaf node to keep the plant full; the cuttings root easily in water.
