‘Jazz Hands Variegated’ is the one loropetalum here that works on foliage alone, its leaves splashed and margined in cream and pink over green, so it reads as color long after the spring fringe-flowers are done.

Give it full sun for the richest color, in acidic, well-drained soil. Use it as a bright accent in a mixed evergreen border or a foundation planting where the variegation can be seen up close.
