Pugster Blue is a dwarf butterfly bush that stays around two feet tall yet carries the thick, full-sized flower spikes of a big buddleia, in true blue. Sturdy stems keep the compact frame upright through summer storms.
Tuck it into a sunny border front, a container, or anywhere a standard butterfly bush would overwhelm. Full sun and drainage are the requirements; deadheading isn't. Cut it back in early spring, then watch bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds work it until frost.
