‘October Magic Pink Perplexion’ is a sasanqua that opens the season in fall with soft pale pink, fully double flowers on a compact, rounded shrub — a tidy habit that sets it apart from older, leggy sasanquas.

Sasanquas handle sun better than japonicas, so plant it in mostly sunny to lightly shaded spots in acidic, well-drained soil. Its neat 4–5 foot stature fits foundation beds, containers, and narrow spaces where you want early autumn colour without the sprawl.
