‘Constellation’ blooms with white bracts in spring on a dogwood with upright, open habit and reaches roughly 20 feet. A Rutgers Stellar hybrid cross of native and kousa dogwood, it's sterile and sets no fruit.

Morning sun with afternoon shade suits it best, paired with moist, well-drained acidic soil and mulch. It resents drought and trunk damage from mowers; excellent disease resistance makes it a reliable choice for the Deep South.
