Pentas flower nonstop from planting through the heat, drawing hummingbirds and butterflies while asking almost nothing of you. They take full sun, tolerate Alabama heat without complaint, and bloom in red, pink, white, or coral — depending on the variety you choose.

Water them in during dry stretches but don't baby them; they're tougher than they look. These 4" plants fill out quickly and will keep producing colour until the first hard cold.
