Purple-leafed setcreasea grows fast and loose, trailing or mounding depending on how you treat it—stuff it in a hanging basket, let it sprawl across a border, or stand it upright with a little support. The foliage deepens in color when it catches good light, and small pink or purple flowers show up if you're not too fussy about watering.

Tender to cold, so plan on it as seasonal color from spring through fall; bring it indoors before the hard freeze or simply replant come March. Heat and humidity don't faze it one bit.
