These impatiens handle full sun and heat better than their shade-loving cousins, making them dependable for beds and borders that get blasted all afternoon. They fill in fast and keep blooming through our hottest months without fading or shriveling.

Plant in moist, well-draining soil and deadhead spent flowers to push more buds. They'll appreciate afternoon shade during peak summer if you're in a particularly hot spot, but they're still leagues tougher than standard impatiens.
