Evergold is a fine-textured sedge with arching blades striped creamy gold down the center, forming a soft, weeping tuft about a foot tall. It holds its color nearly year-round here, brightening winter containers and bed edges alike.

It's happiest in morning sun or bright shade with average moisture, and it needs no cutting back, just a comb-through in spring to pull old blades. Deer leave it alone. Use it along paths, around water features, or spilling from pots.
