Encore Carnation is a reblooming azalea in a soft medium pink, an evergreen that flowers in spring, again in summer, and once more in fall. It runs larger than many Encores, reaching 4 to 5 feet, so it can hold a foundation corner or anchor a mixed border on its own.

Site it in part sun to sun; the rebloom depends on decent light. Acidic, well-drained soil, a mulched root zone, and steady water the first two summers set it up for years. If it needs shaping, prune just after the spring bloom so the later flushes are not cut away.
